Garrett Chase is experienced in real property and lien litigation, contract disputes, commercial litigation, and appellate advocacy. Garrett has worked with real estate brokerages, investors, agents, and property managers in both residential and commercial disputes, and has worked closely with Nevada REALTORS® on appellate real estate matters.
Garrett grew up in Montana, did his undergraduate studies in Seattle where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in software engineering, and finally settled in Las Vegas. Garrett attended the William Boyd School of Law, UNLV, where he received a full ride academic scholarship, numerous awards for written and oral advocacy as a member of the school’s traveling moot court team, and a CALI award for excellence for Opening Statements and Closing Arguments. Garrett was also a participant in the Pro Bono Honors program where he was awarded the Outstanding Community Service Student Award for his work in the Guardianship Public Education program.
Outside of his day-to-day practice, Garrett has authored a historical article about the Black Lives Matter Movement that was published in the Nevada Law Journal and has been cited by various courts and treatises. Garrett also was selected to appear on EmotionTrac's podcast, Latte with a Lawyer, to highlight his professional background and practice. When Garrett isn't in the courtroom or his Las Vegas office, he enjoys spending time with his family, adventuring, and watching old movies.
